Mariposa : celebrating Canadian folk music : 1966
Summary

In 1966, under the direction of Estelle Klein, the festival changed shape somewhat, becoming more decidedly workshop-oriented with concerts interspersed. It spread across several stages allowing for separate events to occur simultaneously. The festival took place from August 5-7 at Innis Lake in Caledon, Ontario. Performances included The Beers Family, Bob Beers, Martin Bockner, Tom Brandon, John Cohen, Larena Clark, Laurie Claus, Dick Flohill, Canadian folklorist, Edith Fowke, Carolyn Hester, Big Walter Horton, Enoch Kent, Tom Kines, Gordon Lightfoot, Owen McBride, Joni Mitchell, Bram Morrison, John Norris, Tom Paxton, Ray Perdue, David Rea, Roger Renwick, Tracy Schwartz, Mike Seeger, Michael Sherman, Sunnyland Slim, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee, Roebuck ‘Pop’ Staple and The Staple Singers, Mrs. Wm. Towns, Ian Tyson, Klaas Van Graft, Doc Watson, David Wiffen and Johnny Young.
