Item consists of a 16 page newsletter from November 1977 titled "The Newsletter: Mariposa Folk Festival Publication Farewell Issue" edited by Matthew Clark and Marilyn Koop, designed by Stew Cameron with general Grit Laskin containing several articles including: "Obituary Column" by Marilyn Koop explaining that they have reached their final issue, "The Dancer Springs as High as Possible" by Bettle Liota, "Mariposa in the Schools" by Carol Kehm, "The Hills Are Alive..." by Jack Guest Jr., music and lyrics of "Champion at Driving 'em Crazy" by Ian Robb, Matthew Clark's review of "The Art of Rag Time" by William J. Schafer and Johannes Reidel, "Grit's Workshop" by Grit Laskin and an editorial by Matthew Clark.
